Backgrounding In OS 3.0?

Wow… There’s some very strong rumors that OS 3.0 will enable backgrounding to select apps.

The talks are that the new iPhone OS 3.0 will have an improved dock system and will have two special slots. Those two special slots will allow you to drag an app onto it, such as WunderRadio and Palringo, and when you launch those apps they’ll be allowed to run in the background.

Wow… Could this be the end to Backgrounder as we know it? We’re already gettin’ rid of Clippy with OS 3.0, allowing us to free up some of our system speed, but if this is true… well ****, this would allow us to get rid of Backgrounder. Backgrounder’s great, I love it, but I’d drop it in a heart beat in favor of system speed.

This is just givin’ us another reason’ta droll over OS 3.0.

Peace, J

Hulu App To Come To iPhones?

It’s been reported that a Hulu app will be coming to iPhones in a few months (once the iPhone 3.0 OS comes out).

This would be ****** amazing! Being able to watch The Office or American Dad over Wifi (or 3G for those of you that have it). Wow…

Hulu’s done some real shady **** in the past though, so I wouldn’t put it past them to never come through with it. So, I ain’t holdin’ my breath for it.

Peace, J
