I read an artical about the Palm Pre bein’ an iPhone killer. Man, you know how many crappy phones and PDAs have been claimed to be “iPhone killers”? Tons… And they all turned out to be lies and hype. And here some writers are claiming the Pre is an “iPhone killer”. Please..

Here’s the thing that makes it so amazing they claim… that it can run programs in the background. Are you ****** me?! Pocket PCs have been able do that since the 90′s! That’s nothing new. Oh yeah, there’s another thing it has that iPhones don’t have… it has a physical keyboard. Again, are you ****** me?! All devices had keyboards or some stupid type of buttons! iPhones are the unique devices that did away with keyboards. That’s one of the reasons most people like using an iPhone is because there are zero buttons and zero physical keyboard.

It’s so funny how the Palm Pre is hailed as an iPhone killer. I suspect that some news reporting agencies some how stand to gain something by portraying Palm in such a false-positive light
