Are 3GS’s Unjailbreakable Now?

It’s been reported that new shipments of iPhone 3GS’s have had their bootrom exploit patched and are now not able to be jailbroken. It’s not to say it isn’t impossible to jailbreak in the future, but there’s only one hole jailbreaking groups know of (that’s what she said) to jailbreak iPhones… so if Apple plug up that hole, no jailbreakie…

This is really bad news for someone, well… someone like me, planning on getting an iPhone 3GS. Jailbreaking groups, get on it…
